Peoria City/County Health Department Accepts Private Insurance
For Health Clinic Services
Peoria - The Peoria City/County Health Department now accepts some private insurance, as well as Medicaid cards for services delivered through the health clinic.
Contracts are in place to service clients with insurance through Humana, United Healthcare, and Blue Cross/ Blue Shield in addition to all forms of Medicaid.
Health clinic services may include medical exams, immunizations, childhood lead testing, TB testing, and STD testing.
Appointments are available for health clinic services by calling 309-679-6655. Clients are advised to bring their insurance cards and information with them to all visits. Some health clinic services delivered at the Peoria City/County Health Department are provided in coordination with our partner Heartland Health Services.
