Join the Peoria City/County Health Department and the Illinois Public Health Institute in celebrating National Breastfeeding Month with a special event at Peoria Zoo on August 11 from 2-4 pm. There is free zoo entry and a ticket for ice cream for the first 50 people, plus giveaways and local resources.
"The Breastfeeding Taskforce celebrates and supports the breastfeeding/chestfeeding families in our community,” said Michelle Compton, Child & Family Health Coordinator. “Come join us to celebrate with snacks, support and valuable resources.”
