Internships and Volunteer Opportunities

Peoria City/County Health Department is committed to a competent workforce by promoting professional development through internships and volunteer opportunities in a wide range of public health disciplines. Our non-monetary internships provide graduate and undergraduate students with practical education and real-life work experience that support public health policy and practice.

Internships are based on the student's goals, the school's curriculum requirements, and project availability. The Health Department will review all applications and follow-up with students to determine an available match.
